“YOUR SON OWES ME TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS BECAUSE I ATE AN ORANGE PEEL! HAHAHA!”... one of the three boys of Yali's Sunday School posse half-shouts in laughter at me as they tumble out of the building together... “I do! I owe him two thousand dollars!” Yali laughs in eager agreement... “And I owe Eve a set of French tips...” Patience adds calmly... “What is this... Sunday School mafia?”
After Yali learns a little more about the actual amount of work it would take him to earn two thousands dollars...
…home after church for a little Medieval hurdy-gurdy while Patience helps with ant control... they're still busy foraging for something apparently we can't find... the ant traps might be working a little...
Yali and Patience get picked up early afternoon by Nana for the Zoo and fondue as continued birthday celebration...
...while I spend a little too much time trying to unsuccessfully help Patience's friend's family rehouse their fluffy rooster... before driving Puck to work for another shift...
For one of those weird late afternoons where all the kids are gone doing other things... hit STL Taco & Pita with Oxbear and a few episodes of “Northern Exposure” into the evening...
