Exit my room that morning to Yali talking loudly down the hallway... “Patience! I picked up Justin while he was eating worms and he was smacking and it was SO GROSS! Haha!”

Another water main break is announced via phone/text/email around eight o'clock as Patience inspects the pineapple in Oxbear's basement dehydrator before leaving for another babysitting gig over by Forest Park...

Back home Puck is out in the yard chugging from his giant thermos of water after another round of sprints... consulting with Elmer via text about repair options for the Lincoln... ready for a cream cheese bagel sandwich...

Can I have a bagel too?” Yali asks // Puck grins and raises one fist into the air... “I'm gonna turn YOU into a bagel!” // “Hahahaha”

Patience is ready for pick-up at noon carrying a small paper bag of hot lunch back from the Mc's... discussing her morning with young R which included blowing bubbles on the front porch in the mild sunshine... tornado damage reconstruction still clanging and hammering throughout the neighborhood...

Everyone splits for the late afternoon to evening after bowls of grass-fed steak and homemade mashed potatoes... Puck over to Produce and Patience to the studio and Oxbear to a church elders meeting... evening crickets stirring into early symphonies...
