14 MAY 26

We’re at that peak in the late middle of the week between Puck and Patience aggressively slinging clean sock rolls at each other across my room and Yali’s unhinged laughter from the basement as he tries to dry off himself and Patience with the shop vac after jumping on the trampoline for hours with the garden house... there’s been some exploration of tin-cast fire ant colonies and discussion on how quickly plastics decompose and “The Count of Monte Cristo” and some Croatian culture as Yali and Patience very calmly discuss which dinner they would prefer while traveling through Dubrovnik... the fish or the clams... there’s been some damage some carnage... the dog has exhumed an entire pack of leftover McD’s fries and there are mirror shards all over the front walk after an experiment’s malfunction and of course the oven which is now down to one-and-a-half working burners is doing that thing again where it randomly converts to Celsius... but we’re still cookin’ onwards...
