Oxbear still a little travel-logged that morning adjusting twelve hours back...
Puck researching running shoes on my laptop while his siblings molasses their way through math class...
...while Mama serves cream cheese bagel sandwiches to the hungry crowd... they (and also apparently the dog) have blasted through almost two full bags of plain bagels in less than twenty-four hours...
Early afternoon comes that gentle rain...
Yali is busy with stacks of cardboard and print-outs and Sharpie and duct tape preparing more film costuming...
...while Puck is in the kitchen experimenting with the blowtorch... Patience an enthusiastic audience watching glowing ash float up towards the ceiling from what was once apparently paper towel... “What's going on up here?” Oxbear laughs at the sight between video calls... the one-day-possibly-would-be firefighter grins in satisfaction at his pyro-techniques of the day...
...before changing for work to then heckle his sister during another violin lesson for the fun of it... which she of course loves and serves it all back to him in a way that only she can do...
Rain pauses as I deliver Puck to work... all vehicles required this evening... the circus will split temporarily for produce and dinner meetings and studio classes before converging later...
But first Patience switches on “The Great British Baking Show” while I scoop out bowls of hot chili mac for dinner... “YAY!”...
Some couple of hours later Yali and I are returning from delivering Patience to the studio under soft rain-patches of dark light while Yali practices some kind of a masterclass in fake tears imagining scenes from “The Fox on the Hound” which he has never actually seen... just for the fun of it apparently...
