In which Collette becomes three years shy of 30…
Fortunately, the day started off with a false alarm for the main drain.
And OLeif continued incorporating that uncanny ability to resemble a deranged sea urchin in the mornings.
Meanwhile, Donkey’s cousin, Wendimu, had arrived in the mail. A gift to Baby Hesed, just in time for Christmas.
“We’ll call him Wendy for now,” said OLeif.
Puck immediately surfaced questions.
“Mama, has Donkey been to the bottom of the world?”
“I don’t know. You should ask him.”
“Has Donkey’s cousin been on travels?”
“Ask him.”
Puck walked over to Wendy’s perch on a stack of books on the kitchen counter, careful not to touch his glossy coat…
“Hey, Wendy, have you ever saw any places before?”
The windows were open.
Happy birthday calls from the family.
Christmas music on the radio, including Puck’s apparent absolute favorite: Michael W. Smith’s Gloria. The kid was in to epic sounds.
Puck absorbed himself with the Cardinals electric train.
And the rain lightly fell…
OLeif returned with Red Robin burgers and Redbox as the rain fell more.
And Puck went to bed singing Christmas ditties to himself…
“See-saw. Ruh puh pum pum…”
