August wraps with a breakfast potluck at church where Patience fills her plate with so many heavy layers of savory and sweet that she almost drops it by the time she reaches the end of the buffet table...

Afternoon... Oxbear is driving towards Nashville again with Theodore and Gloria for the Sing! conference...

...Puck gets scooped off to five hours in Produce...

...and Yali and Patience are running around with spontaneous friends at the park before dinner... where Patience meets what appears to be a large pet salmon-crested cockatoo named “Peaches”...

Evening in the cool late sun... rolled up in blankets on the couch watching “National Treasure”...

Yali also does a little suit shopping online because he wants to look sharp when he “elders” at church with Oxbear...

Grabbing Puck from work several hours later... I can see the please-get-me-a-burger smile on his face before he gets into the van... “You know... it's still the weekend...”
