  • Oxbear and Yali begin cutting the felled tree into firewood, which doesn’t last long due to heat and a branch trimmer that decides to quit
  • Oxbear delivers a whole brisket to a friend who just had a baby in South City
  • Find pieces of tiny toy cars in my drinking glass
  • Find little tubes of green and red acrylic paint squirted in curly-cues in the yard
  • Find clean and folded laundry turned upside-down on the floor of my room (to be fair, that might also have been the cat…)
  • Find puddles from “freezy pops” on the living room floor
  • Find magic marker scrawled in the hallway… oh wait, that was yesterday…
  • Find carpenter ants in the house; from that felled tree again…
  • Forget about all the other “not cool” discoveries around the house throughout the day, because at the end of that day, it’s all just part of a mom’s job
