Open the freezer door that morning to a black skeleton hand frozen in ice... Yali...
A golden wind tearing through crumbling goldenrod and oaks past the windows...
Patience is gone babysitting with some birthday blooms for "Grandma"...
...Yali is intensely sketching creepy clowns on his old light board...
...and Puck later wanders out to request a paper bag of McRibs to share around the family for lunch...
Afternoon is big high wind rolling through the neighborhood...
Yali and Patience run out into it together... Patience busy learning how to roll her R's from Yali who is a natural...
He's also very busy with rubberbands... “I didn't know you could use this as a weapon to make your little sister angry!” he announces happily... aiming at an oblivious Patience...
Run over to the studio for an hour... one final class before the big-time Mid-American regional competition...
And back home again where Oxbear has prepared homemade biscuits for fun before he and Yali hustle out to the store for magnets after dinner...
And more Robert Irwin on “Dancing with the Stars” for Patience who might be a little obsessed...
Closing down for the evening with distractions during readings before bed... “Mom! Look at what I drew! What if you saw this CREEPY CLOWN outside your window? What would you do?” // “Mom! Did you know I can spell 'Portuguese'?”...
