Blackbirds barking in the cedar trees over a bed of snow... steel sky still cold...

Yali's snapping into a bag of Cool Ranch Doritos for breakfast... “Yali really?”... while Patience has extensive questions about demons and the occult...

But we've also got to learn things about multiplication factors and Jules Verne so a short time later we're at the table and Yali's asking about cologne again as he pops an entire clementine into his mouth asking if he can go “salt hunting” in the mines...

By lunch they have the dog participating in a full fashion show... she's looking a little glum in Patience's fluffy pastels accompanied by also-Patience's I-can't-take-how-cute-she-is! screams of delight... but this dog'll do anything for her kids...

Sometime after the dog has shed her Little-Red-Riding-Hood look it's afternoon and back to the studio for Patience with her fifty-seven thousand ongoing questions about everyone and everything but mostly topics involving l-o-o-o-o-o-v-e... fictional or otherwise...

And we're back home a couple of hours later where Puck's cat is throwing himself into my shoulder for attention and when it's not the correct calibre of attention he begins chewing on a wrapper about half the length of his spine threatening to swallow the whole thing... this cat needs his boy back...
