Morning's stacked with English muffin sandwiches and costume pieces and ordering electrical tape and pocket notebooks for the weekend and more of those dreaded math flashcards...

Then after running weights back and forth in the yard Puck requests a haircut mid-morning... Yali and Patience crowd into the bathroom doorway to watch... Patience catching all the dirty blonde curls falling off the back of Puck's neck... “Why are you all in here?” he barks... “Get out of here!” // **giggle giggle**

After the show has concluded... compliments from Puck... it's back to classes while the mobile mechanic successfully reinstalls the steering column in the Lincoln...

And before Oxbear and I join an online video call with the kids' therapist... find even one more item that Yali's cut the buckles off of in his quest for further authenticity to his costuming...

We're back to early evening again... Puck heavily researching saddle blanket seat covers for the Lincoln before one of his final shifts at Schnucks...

Patience chugging through ninety minutes of reels and hornpipes at the studio past dark...

Back home Yali's deep into a one-man show of self-interrogation involving throwing himself off chairs and into walls as he stuntman's himself back and forth between characters... he's also built himself a tiny diorama with faux mosses and flickering battery light and a tiny garden pool in a box...

Puck is waiting on the corner at eight o'clock with a packaged tray of pork hocks... “I want to eat these” he announces as we drive home to figure out the best way to make that happen... while he's waiting on the hoped-for feast he takes a cup of tea...

...as Patience is shooed into her bunk to catch more sleep before another big competition weekend...

...and Yali crawls into his blanket fort for the night to read aloud from one of Oxbear's old magic books by flashlight...

...and Oxbear insists on grabbing me a box of gourmet maltballs before we nerd out a little over the “Northern Disclosure” video podcast...
