A Little Bit of This

The morning was split up with corn tortilla flatbreads and cold brie. Between IM conversations and emails, catching up on to-do lists and projects, Puck was standing behind me cloaked in an evil giggle, sticking a bar of velcro to my sweater. After he had plastered his sweatshirt and face in magic marker – I failed to note if they were washable – and the cat [Crackers sported a new shade of blue as a racing stripe down her side], I sent him outside to climb trees.

Crackers was going crazy not being allowed to join her boy in the yard. To express her distress, she attacked Puck’s Captain American skull cap and dragged it under a kitchen chair to shred.

Green pepper smileys weren’t far behind as Puck later labored over his red Target notebook making plans for the future.

The Bear was happy to return that night with a new pillow for his head, still passing Greek, that beast of the ancient world.
