A Little Yali-ness

Yali had some thoughts for me this morning while I slicked his hair over for school.

“I like this house, Mom. I like the kitchen more better.”

A few minutes later I found him in the kitchen with the salt grinder, shaking loose grains of salt into his hand, and licking them.
