A Sunday
Sunday, January 11, 2009
Sunday brought a visit to Memorial, as OLeif had a 9:30 rehearsal with a quartet for the following Sunday’s Pro-Life Service. While he practiced in the church basement (i.e. fellowship hall), Carrie-Bri and Rose sat at one of the tables with Arabic and tea, and iPod, respectfully. And Collette followed Puck around the many winding passages of the church. He was a wiggling squirming that morning. Even in church, he couldn’t sit still for very long.
On the ride home, he pretended to fall asleep, and smiled to himself, eyes closed, every time Rose tried to stick a piece of apple into his baby mouth. Finally, OLeif’s playing the harmonica roused him to finish his bento of apples and carrots.
It was a slow, quiet day.
