An hour after carpool had already ended, Puck and Bob were still sending a big chunky eraser up and down the empty carpeted hallways, back and forth to each other, like a skipping stone. The girls were a little too mature for such things and left for deeper waters, hunting up Tootsie rolls and other treats in the basement. Meanwhile Yali ignored all of them, opting for the “Robot Party” app on my iPhone.
