Age is Relative

Conversation with Puck walking into church…

Puck : “Mom, your car is so old.”

Collette : “It’s only nine years old.”

Puck : “Well, I guess I am older than your car… actually, no. It’s made of metal. So that metal has been around longer than I have.”

Collette : “Well, actually, we all come from the same recycled atoms I guess. Although man was made after metals… But since Adam was made out of the dust of the ground…”

Puck : “So we’re the same age, Mom. Except man was made first.”

Collette : “But Eve came from Adam’s ribs. So Eve’s atoms came from Adam’s atoms – ha – so they’re basically the same age. We’re basically all the same age.”

Puck : “Oh yeah!”
