April 6

Puck’s swelling had reduced again overnight. Although the bruising was worse. All a part of being a rough-and-tumble little boy.

Meanwhile, Collette and Puck were home on another warm day. They were outside together in the wind with his orange bouncy-ball. And while Puck pushed his stroller through the lawn, over which was strewn patches of white violets and purple violets, Collette replanted a rose bush.

By two o’clock, it was 83 degrees.

That night, Puck was having issues with going to sleep for the night, despite his un-napped nap.

I have go to sleep ‘fore my eyes turn red,” he said seriously, with the protests.

But then he calmed his woes and listened to OLeif read at the dinner table over his dessert bowl of apple and pear slices.
