April Snow

Monday, April 6, 2009

Snow in April. Collette had been waiting for that to happen again in St. Louis. It was rare, but it still happened. Snow mixed with tulips in full-bloom.
Puck was very intent on vacuuming the entire house with his corn popper and rolling music box toys. He encouraged Collette to join in by handing her the corn popper.
“Mamma, vacuum? Mamma, vacuum?”
Later that afternoon while Collette and Puck listened to a sermon from Dr. Wintershine on the Internet, Puck was very interested. Collette explained to him who it was speaking to him from her laptop.
“Wintershine bye bye,” he said. “Wintershine bye bye.”
So there was another day at home. Another day to watch her knee heal, to read and write, to play with Puck, and enjoy a pizza in the evening with OLeif after he finished giggling over the television special of “Princess Bride”.
