The temperatures were predicted to skyrocket that hot Saturday morning. Heat advisories were set from noon to eight o’clock that night.

So, to keep cool, everyone stayed indoors at the Silverspoon’s (except for Izzy mowing a lawn early in the afternoon.) And the boys discussed politics and conspiracy theories in the kitchen over spaghetti.

After Puck was put down for his nap, he heard Wally blowing his nose from the kitchen.
“Bless you!” he called out. “Bless you!”

By one o’clock, the heat indices were at 100.
And the boys continued to discuss the President, his administration, and varying principles and laws of the universe…
Then Curly blended up cloves to make molasses cookies while everyone watched Monsters, Inc.
This was followed with a jam session for the boys in the music room, while Puck watched them from his high chair, cramming in dinner.
And Collette and Gloria played several rounds of Boggle.
