Back from Wind and Sun

Back to October.
And a sick baby. Puck had come down with a nasty little cough and fever since Sunday night. But he was a trooper, and he laughed and danced his way through Monday and Tuesday, despite his ailment.

The trip had been stellar.
All four had a great time sailing between islands. Linnea was already making plans for her next cruise. Almost everything had gone just beautifully. And Collette had found her new favorite tropic island: Dominica. Rose and Linnea agreed. But OLeif was still set on St. Kitts as his particular favorite.

Meanwhile, back from sun and sand, Tuesday was filled with rain and trees filled with yellow leaves. A different sort of beauty.
So Puck danced to fishermen’s tunes in the living room and played with his little gifts from the trip: a tiny soapstone owl from Antigua (Ahn-tea-gah), and a little stuffed panda bear from the airport in Atlanta, which OLeif had seen and bought for him.
Then there was tuna fish salad for lunch, which Puck tried for a little while.
“I need tuna on my fish,” he said.

Meanwhile, OLeif was back to work and school.
He was also preparing to be gone with the youth over the Halloween weekend for the Senior High retreat.
