Back to School

In which the same sorts of things happen, as could be expected, because it was another Tuesday…

Start-off with another bad stuffy-head-mold headache.
Would autumn never arrive?

During breakfast, Puck watched Tasha’s backyard fence being pulled down outside the kitchen window. This was a fascinating project behind four year-old boy eyes. The destruction revealed an old medium-cherry-red car from the 70’s maybe — Collette knew nothing of cars — and large cinderblocks for her back fence.

And OLeif was back to on-campus class for the fall semester: Preparation and Delivery of Sermons, with Dr. Chapell. Thus, a 4:45 wake-up call and 5:00 departure.

Puck had been slowly, but surely, developing a moderate phobia of the sun. So during lunch, he saw a fruit fly on the window…
“It was out in the baking sun for 40 years. Wasn’t it, Mama?”
Lunch itself? Tim Ferriss. Tuna. Black beans. O yum.

Meanwhile…
Rose’s car was coming in on Wednesday. OLeif was to drive it back from the dealership.
Mom and Dad were leaving for California for a week.

And a light rain shortly after dinner.
Three Guys Named Mike.
And OLeif ordered business cards for Scott Pie.
