Basketball

It was basketball season again. So after arriving at the Silverspoon’s, Collette left the boys to eat their lunch, and headed off toward the school. Linnea’s game came first. She had greatly improved, and received a gray star for best offense, and Eleda received a red for best defense. This, while Mrs. English and Carrie worked on their knitting projects, and the moms chatted for the whole hour about various goings-on. The game ended in the opposing team’s favor, 34-28. But it had still been a great effort.
Afterward, Collette joined Mom and Carrie-Bri on a trip to the Galleria for more tea. Sweet Fruit Garden was the flavor Collette would try next.
Then it was time for Francis’ first game of the season. And for the very first time, Collette was able to witness a basketball victory. This included a successful long shot by Francis in the beginning of the first half. 33-21. A good game.
Collette returned to the Silverspoon’s in time to see Puck happily splashing in his bubble bath, soon followed with a feast of food in the high chair. He then climbed up onto his Papa’s lap to eat a pile of pineapple wedges before leaving for the evening.
