Cantaloupe & Pictures
Linnea was finally feeling well again, and so Collette and Puck returned to the house where Puck immediately made himself at home with a plate piled high with cantaloupe and festooned himself with a mound of multi-colored Mardi Gras beads.
Mom had set up the Easter decorations, and Puck noticed the Resurrection set on the lamp table by the couch. He stared at it for awhile, looking over everything.
“Where’s Jesus?” Puck asked. “There he is!”, he said, pointing to the cross.
Then Puck climbed up into Francis’ lap and watched him draw pictures of vacuums and stick figure family members, etc., until Linnea took over so that Francis could continue his math and merit badge work with Collette.
And Francis had received a healthy sunburn while at Beaumont for the weekend with the other Scouts.
