Curly Back
Puck was busy scolding Trooper for stealing his cinnamon puffins that morning. Fortunately, Troops wasn’t as interested in Puck’s cantaloupe, and it went unscathed.
“Dad stepped on Buddha last night,” said Rose grumpily. “There’s a big blood spot on the sidewalk. So we’re going to have a ‘frunral’ tomorrow.”
It was a sad day for toads everywhere.
Meanwhile, Curly was back in town for a few days, so he and Joe spent part of their morning testing out Francis’ go-kart at church.
By five o’clock, Collette and Puck had picked up OLeif from work to join the Silverspoon’s (minus Theodore, who was flying back into town later that evening) for enchiladas.
Curly was enjoying school. One already transpired RUF event included a camp-out on a llama farm, which also housed the giant telescopes of a wealthy man who enjoyed taking pictures of the stars.
After dinner, Puck ran gleefully around the house with his Nana’s stirring spoon, still stained from the red drink from dinner. He waved it wildly in the air and scolded Sebastian with it, for no apparent reason.
And rain was coming, hopefully.
