Dark, Gray, & Rain

Tuesday, November 23, 2004

It was another Tuesday, although this one was unlike the usual. Ivy was out of the office for the week and so Collette was left to manage. She spent the morning battling it out with the computer in an attempt to print labels for an important financial mailing. Then she resolved as best she could, the dilemma over where and when to purchase poinsettias for the Advent Season beginning the following Sunday morning.

The day was gray and rain was in the air the whole morning, afternoon, and into the evening and night. Snow was coming, and already the television stations were announcing winter weather advisories. Collete thought it all sounded marvelous. She was in the warmness of Thanksgiving and Christmas thoughts.
