1. Wonder why the cat vomiting on the kitchen tile woke me in the middle of the night, but not the big thunderstorm that apparently ripped through the county early in the morning
2. Yali’s fever breaks a second time; he also emphatically wants me to know that pandas eat forty pounds of bamboo a day
3. Take Puck and Patience to Castlewood State Park in the afternoon where Puck discovers several clay deposits in the creek bank
4. Listen to Puck talk about physics and gravity on the drive home while he chows down on a Big Mac and Patience requests the playing of – clearly – one of her favorite albums : Zach & Maggie
5. Hammock in the evening with books, in that particular springtime temperature that is the perfect center between warm and cool
6. “Brooklyn Nine Nine” and Firehouse Subs for dinner; gotta jumpstart the economy somehow
