“Quarantine” Day #040

1. Yali and Patience play “train the bear” for most of the morning in a pop-up tent in the living room
2. They are then later caught eating grape jelly right out of the jar with two spoons
3. In the mail (mail is always interesting, but extra interesting during quarantine) :
   – Covidfest gear from Uncle Curly and Aunt Lulu in Nashville
   – heat lamp bulb for Puck’s bathroom
   – scotch tape and cooking twine to add to the boys’ “inventions box”
4. Yali and Patience are later seen carrying out a buffalo hunt in the front yard
5. Puck’s dinner request : plain spaghetti with plain salami on the side (where does this boy’s palate come from?)
6. In the evening, drive through heavy, heavy rain and thunderstorm to join Carrie-Bri and Sally at the Big House to discuss things like : South American condors, strawberry roans, blue roans, Martin Luther, transubstantiation, Mother Theresa, Zoroastrianism, etc… while Vesh, newly returned from puppy training, chews on a bovine bone on the floor
