December 1

Tuesday, December 1, 2009

Puck had been learning many new things in the last months, as his conversations expanded, phrases such as:
“Pillow’s here!” — which he used to greet his Aunt Carrie (‘Sun’), because she used his tummy as a pillow…
“I could crash you!” — when he was trying to prove his toughness…
And so many other things. He never stopped having words to say about everything, unless he was deeply involved with his books or matchbox cars.

Meanwhile, it was a bright first morning in December. Temperatures had been proposed to reach 60, which would likely be the highest they would see until spring.

Puck surprised Collette that morning by pointing out the letter ‘X’ in his letter collection.
Then they looked over the selection of bouncy balls on the Internet for Puck’s Christmas gift. He chose a set of 50 glow-in-the-dark balls, which Collette explained he could not actually pull out of the laptop, but would be delivered to his mailbox.

OLeif left for a presentation at seminary that evening. Puck hit the bubble bath. And Collette went on to season two of Hamish MacBeth.
