December 4

Dad had sent out an email that morning to let everyone know that Mom had been a part of the Andy Williams show the previous evening. Branson’s ‘fastest violinist’ had brought Mom up to the stage so that she could help play the violin. Afterward, Dad said that:
“…people were commenting that Mom did a great job and that they could tell she had training.”

On their way to the Silverspoon’s that morning, they stopped in at Walgreen’s for OLeif’s passport photos for various Colombian documents, and Target for a last Christmas gift.
At the Silverspoon’s, Gloria was the only one at home for the morning, and gave Puck a giant pair of headphones to wear while she vacuumed the living room. And he chomped down a whole bowl of orange slices while OLeif fried eggs and bacon for a bit of a brunch.

In the afternoon, it was ‘bring five canned goods to Wehrenberg before five o’clock and see a movie for free’ day, so Izzy went out again to see Fantastic Mr. Fox and OLeif and Theodore went out to watch 2012.
And Gloria brought Sebastian to the dog wash.
Then everyone, including a very happy Puck, munched on a bag of Harry & David chocolate moose munch. And Gloria tested several bundles of Christmas twinkly lights.

Around five o’clock, OLeif and Theodore were still at the movies, so Collette and Puck left with Gloria for the store to pick up several items, including ingredients for a queso dip, which Gloria put together while Puck played with a set of measuring cups at the kitchen sink. Gloria slipped a trash bag over him, with holes cut out for the head and arms, and he happily splashed around with the water, incorporating several drops of blue food coloring and a few leaves of cilantro (for the dip) into his creations, as offered by his Nana.
