It was frigid.

At nine o’clock, the three pulled into church for the two and a half hour rehearsal for the children’s Christmas program, supplemented by Pop Tarts and Capri Sun, Play-dough, and Veggie Tales. Daisy-Jean sent them all home afterwards with candy canes and large Hershey’s bars wrapped in white paper and drawn up as snowmen. The kids loved Daisy-Jean.

And the musicians also rehearsed, including OLeif.

Back at the Silverspoon’s, the gentlemen had their cigars in the garage for an hour or so.

Then Gloria returned to retrieve the turkey from the oven.

And after Puck’s, more or less, Quite Hour, he came out for gingerbread houses with Gloria.

“Someone needs to taste that,” Puck said, pointing to the package of candy.

Theodore and OLeif napped.

And the wind whipped coldly in the dimming gray.

In the afternoon…

The gingerbread house was still in construction.

“It’s sagging!” Gloria called out every 30 seconds or so.

And Puck ate more of the roofing materials than he actually put on the house itself.

Then Izzy returned from choir/orchestra rehearsal to study before leaving for work.

Theodore and OLeif moved furniture at Theodore’s office.

And Puck decided that he was going to name his baby brother from Colombia, ‘Vow-gee’.

And later, Collette and Puck joined Gloria at the dog wash for Sebastian, who, as Gloria said it, found a ‘girlfriend’ in a much smaller version of himself named, ‘Lady’. A brief hunt for a Christmas wreath for Theodore’s office door…

Then back for more turkey and Andy Griffith.

Back home…

BBC series.

A giant glass of peanut butter for OLeif.

And Rose, who had been Christmas house touring in Hermann with Grandma, Aunt Petunia, and Mom, had sent Collette a photo of a dish in an antique store.

“Puck started his own company while you weren’t looking,” she wrote.

The plate read: Little Puck Cigars, Delicious and Harmless Smoke.
