Sunday the fourteenth, the day the church was once again dealt its blow. Collette was not happy in the slightest. It was Denae’s birthday as well as Diana’s. But the scene at church was sad. She would never forget the look on Joe’s and Angelina’s faces when Francis went up afterward to the front of the church and said goodbye and that he would miss them. It was another sad step in the struggling life of Grace Presbyterian Church. Needless to say, a damper was placed on it all.
