It was time to see the dentist again.

So while Carrie hung out with the little man, Collette hurried back out into the gelid air of another snow-spritzer day and the everlasting crescent of tepid cloud.

No cavities. Healthy teeth. That was what Collette liked to hear. And shortly over an hour and a half later, she was back at home.

Carrie and Puck had built a cardboard block colosseum in the living room, where Puck was comfortably watching an episode of Little Bear on Carrie’s laptop.

I in my house, Mama!” he squeaked.

Later, he asked for Collette to make further buildings for him.

Make a castle for me, Mama! And I will live in it! I be quiet in the castle! And this is my bedroom!”

After running around for awhile, Puck wanted to play monster.

Monster’s coming, Mama! I’m going to save you! I’m going to save you, Mama! I saved you wiff my hands, Mama. There. There.”

It was another night for, after a two-year sabbatical, watching the final season premiere of LOST. But not before a bath for Puck, wherein OLeif played violin concertos on his laptop for Puck’s listening pleasure. Followed by his very first delectable experience with a honey-crunch-battered corn dog, which he held himself, and was very proud.
