The last full day of Games.

This included Linnea’s last basketball game. It was a good one. A large crowd. Enthusiastic. And their team led most of the game by a few points. Linnea made two baskets, intercepted the ball numerous times… They fell back by two points almost right at the end, and then came around to tie it in the last seconds. A great way to end the season. Linnea received her accolades and accompanied the rest of the team afterwards at Dairy Queen.

Then back to international playgrounds…

Perhaps greatest of all was the gold in Men’s Bobsleigh.

At the Silverspoon’s there was Mexican for lunch. And OLeif and Collette visited Theodore’s new office, which boasted several offices, a reception area, and conference room.

In the afternoon, OLeif made chocolate chip cookies.

And Izzy had been at play practice for most of the day, to return home and prepare for another swing dance.

Why do you allow your soul to be unstrung, relaxed through luxury, and allow the whole harp to be useless to Him? You should keep all its parts completely stretched, well strung, and reinforced with spiritual salt. For if Christ sees your soul tuned this way, He will make His music through it.”

— Chrysostom
