First Dusting

“I’m never leaving this house. Or I will buy a house next door. Or maybe I will look in Nana’s neighborhood. I will just look for for-sale houses. But one that is not as small as this house. Because this house is the size of a ladybug!”

Puck’s philosophizing begins at an early hour of the day.

“SNOW! IT SNOWED! MOM, COME LOOK!”

Sugar dusting.

Joe IM-d me at 8:25:

“The Miata slides like a champ.”

Anyone else would be a little upset about that fact; not Joe.

Anyway, Bær had taken the day off, which meant a late sleep-in to recover from the cold. Lots of Pumpkin, which seemed to really be working again. And watching videos of lava with Puck sitting on Bær’s lap at the desk computer.

“I love to watch lava! It’s amazing!” Puck explained himself.

I concur.

Because it was basically a little Silverspoon holiday – any off-work day counts – we hit up Target. Puck had been saving his change for a Lego “satellite” (a.k.a. Star Wars ship).

As we drove, Puck’s selection from the library serenaded us: Boston.

“He just wanted to get it because of the flying saucer on the cover,” Bær explained.

Puck’s Blog: Day #11

I want to be an inventor and I might build something that hasn’t been invented yet. (So what were you thinking about inventing?) Well, that’s a hard question because I think I still might invent the coffee strap. You strap the coffee around your waist. They wouldn’t have to carry it anywhere. They would just have to strap it around them.
