Gray Friday

Friday, September 5, 2008

As of Thursday morning, Puck had accomplished his first feat of art – drawing pink magic marker on his grandma’s kitchen walls. Carrie took a picture of him next to his masterpiece. Fortunately for Puck, the paint was a satin finish and the marker was washable. It came right off.
Meanwhile, it was another cool gray morning. Carrie was off for a thirty-mile bike ride on the Katy Trail with a couple of friends.
Later while Puck napped, Collette joined Carrie and Joe on a run by Target and the library.
“Argh,” said Carrie, after coming out of the library, “they never have any important books in there. Not a single thing on electromagnetics.”
By the time evening had arrived, the sun had revisited enough for Collette to rollerblade around the neighborhood again.
She returned in time to share the last of the truffle chocolate peanut butter cup brownies with OLeif.
