Collette and OLeif spent their morning at the adoption agency, working on the first home study visit.
After dropping off Puck at the house, Collette shared some of OLeif’s breakfast potato squares before heading into the office where the international flags hung, faded, above the entrance.
Meanwhile, while they were involved in interviews, Carrie-Bri had taken Puck and Linnea to visit Grandma Snicketts and bring her to watch Puck take two rides on the carousel at Faust Park, and then to Chick-fil-A for lunch.
About the time that Francis was getting on with his algebra, Carrie began reading an article about how school children in Uruguay were being given free computers as a sort of incentive program. As a result, typical ‘Mr. Ridiculous Random Question Man’ Francis, next asked: “Oh, so I get a free laptop?”
“Do you live in Uruguay, Francis?” Carrie asked.
Francis just grinned and shrugged, cuddling the Snuggles inside his bathrobe.
After Portuguese, he packed for his two-night Scout camp-out. Joe was at a car show. And Mom and Dad left for the Fox to see The Phantom of the Opera.
