It Ends

After greeting Monday morning feeling pretty much the same that she had over the weekend, Collette and Puck were dropped off at the house by OLeif, and Collette scheduled an appointment with the doctor for the afternoon.

The rest of the day passed much as had Sunday, which included, of course, more tea, and water.

The day ended well with Collette at the doctor’s in the cool gray of the afternoon, where she discovered that she did not have the problem that she thought she had, but a different problem that was already getting better because of the medicine she had begun taking Saturday…

She returned to the house where Mom, Frances, Linnea, and Puck had spent their afternoon under stormy skies around the chiminea in the backyard with hot chocolate and bags of popcorn.

Good day. Collette was already feeling better.
