I've met some folks who say that I'm a dreamer...

Friday began with a fine silver mist over the land. And once the sun had revisited for lunch, Mom, Joe, Wally, and Frances hauled a load of rock and 1,200 pounds of cement to the church office ramp site. The boys returned later with Nahum Crusty and three more loads of cement, plywood, and Rose with her camera before the afternoon had ended. And little Popples had drawn a picture for the side of Collette’s desk – of trees and sky and forest lanterns.
Meanwhile, Mom was off on a weekend of leisure with Grandma and Aunt Petunia after the arrival of her furniture. And while the girls were gone and OLeif aided the boys and Augustus and Dad with the ramp, Collette stayed at the house with Linnea and made her quesadillas for dinner. Meanwhile, Linnea explained the latest news on tornadoes which she had gleaned from a recent PBS special.
