Snow Day

Yali and I both feel worse in the morning… so do the roads… Yali and I bundle on the couch together while Oxbear reschedules his annual physical and I cancel Patience’s orthodontist appointment and Yellow Bird for the next morning

It’s a “SpongeBob” morning for Yali… taking a little tea but not much interest in that or anything else

Pop an ibuprofen around eleven while working on the finances wrapped in my chenille throw

Clink of metal on metal as Puck begins a work-out in the basement, following his earlier morning two miles on the treadmill… “That was incredible. That was the best work-out I’ve ever had. I actually had a good time doing it.”

Patience, to help out, serves up a grilled cheese sandwich, fries with ketchup, and a cup of snow with a spoon to Yali for lunch

Sluggish into the afternoon for Yali and Mama…

Oxbear walks to Walgreen’s for a few items of interest… roads still bad… grocery stores closing mid-afternoon

SpongeBob still going strong at the dinner hour with a few smiles out of Yali

Local schools closed again for Tuesday… good choice

As the window shades are shut for the night, Jacob and I begin a live discussion-response to a Christian-atheist debate on my laptop as Yali and Patience eventually wander in to listen too
