Puck began his day looking through picture books.

“God made house,” he said, pointing to a picture of a house. “God made water.”

And so on.
The rain began to fall before they left that morning. A slow gray drizzle.

Over at the house, Puck was plopped up on the counter to be Carrie’s eager cookie-making assistant. He dumped in the brown sugar, unwrapped the butter, scarfed down a handful of chocolate chips before anyone could tell him ‘no’… and then he licked the spoon.

Shortly later, the Silverspoon kids and Relevance arrived to run out for a sort of shopping excursion with Carrie-Bri and Joe. But not before watching Puck enjoy his sugar rush by tossing Donkey back and forth between all of them.
Then they were gone into the afternoon just as Linnea was returning from a sleepover at Eleda’s, and preparing for another one that same evening.

On the way home, there was heat lightening. Collette saw it crack across the sky in the northwest.

And after Collette’s muggy walk of the early evening, Rose kept an eye on the snoozing Puck in order for OLeif and Collette to take care of some paperwork and photos at work.
