It was a quiet day at home. After FIFA, life was looking a little… ordinary. But only more was to come beginning August 28th with La Liga’s new season, which just so happened to be Collette’s and OLeif’s 6th anniversary.
But back to the usual news…
Books, books, and more books.
As soon as Francis arrived for tutoring that evening, he showed Collette the abomination that had been implanted to his braces.
“They put shock absorbers on me!” he declared, opening his mouth for display. “Why would they try to get rid of my underbite? Who cares if it’s like that?”
“It might keep tension off your jaw,” Collette guessed.
“Phooey on tension! They’re coming off!”
But that was not likely…
The evening included more of the beautiful strawberry-cream-milk-chocolate at a perfect warmed state.
Francis mowed the yard, rewarding himself with two cans of ginger ale.
And Linnea-Irish practiced whistling.
The gold-orange glow of the sun could still be seen through the trees after nine o’clock.
