After a night dreaming of many tornadoes, it was, for no special reason, a morning for the music of Ben-Hur.
Once OLeif finished more of his everlasting website work, they arrived at the Silverspoon’s just in time for the lunch hour, where Theodore and Gloria were returning with grass-fed beef.
And Collette visited the post office for more document-mailing and two libraries, which included picking up a stack of Rose’s reserves. The usual eclectic batch:
-
Alligator Shoes
-
Mr. Blandings Builds his Dream House (DVD)
-
1,001 Bright Ideas to Stretch Your Dollars
-
The Masonic Myth
-
College Physics
-
Physical Geology
-
Stone Soup (CD)
No one but Rose…
Meanwhile, it all surmised to be a very quiet number of days. The family was off to the reunion with Mom’s side of the family in the Branson area. Dad, Carrie, and Rose would remain for one night, and Mom, Francis, and Linnea through Wednesday.
In the afternoon, Theodore and Izzy were out, so the rest went off for a brief jaunt in the hot hour to find a long-due portrait frame for Collette’s print: Philosopher in Meditation.
Then back for Puck: bubble bath, apple and peanut butter, and books. Temper tantrum. One round of Bananagrams while Theodore and OLeif went to the movies.
And home.
