Collette and Puck spent another morning with books, cardboard block towers, and watching the cool breezes of the gray hours.
And Puck incessantly carried around his stuffed donkey and ‘Pingo’ (stuffed puffin), chewing on Donkey’s snout, as usual, and passing out occasional kisses to his plush friends. OLeif had a dental appointment at noon.
There were quesadillas for lunch.
Collette continued research of international adoption, adding Colombia to their list of potential options, which had recently included only Taiwan.
And Puck amused himself watching a little brown moth crawl on the window screen.
“He’s climbing! He’s climbing up!” he said happily. Later that evening, after everyone stuffed themselves with shewermas and melons over The Cosby Show, Joe, Magnus, Curly, and Rose joined OLeif in the basement for a movie. And in uninteresting news of the day, Collette found out that her climbing roses were not the hoped-for orange, but were actually quite pink.
