It was kind of a lazy day.
Collette was pretty sure she had heard a thunderstorm come in during the night, maybe early in the morning.

She and OLeif had walked up to the old World’s Fair Pavilion in Forest Park the night before (after having arrived at the Boathouse five minutes after it had closed), and then ate a late supper at O’Charley’s, using an old gift card embellished with snowflakes.

Over at the Silverspoon’s, Puck was very excited to see his mom and dad again, fully absorbed in a pile of magnets on the living room floor. And Izzy’s tripod, which he learned how to use throughout the morning.

And Theodore showed the family a self-defense presentation given by a man in the Special Forces.

Around the kitchen table, OLeif and Curly began to discuss the idea of building bookshelves underneath the basement stairs back home. This quickly turned into hidden rooms, an underground pool (Izzy’s contribution), and a subterranean tunnel all the way to work, which was actually Theodore’s idea.
“I’ll take my Ruckus down there and ramp out into the office every morning!” said OLeif.

For the afternoon there were chocolate ‘muffin’ cookies made by Curly, and some time outside for Puck who played basketball with his Nana and chased the cats.
OLeif worked on Theodore’s website.
Puck walked around the house with his hands in his pockets, feeling very important.
There were a few games of Blockus for Gloria, Collette, and the boys, while Antiques Roadshow played in the other room.
And then Curly packed up to play a gig at another coffee house, where OLeif later joined them.
