On the last day of July, Linnea applied for her passport. Mom and Dad were both required to accompany her to the post office for the event of the application. And though she was none too pleased with her photograph for the inside cover, she was happy to have finally applied.
She then arrived, with Mom and Francis, for Francis to mow the lawn, and for further math tutelage, after which Francis was finally awarded the long-awaited PSP.

Puck enjoyed watching street traffic from the window for part of the afternoon. He seemed pretty entertained with this cat-like pastime. And he equally amused himself by running his old ‘vacuum’ (miniature pinball machine) up and down and around the arc of Collette’s Chinese gong.

Then OLeif and Collette settled in for an evening of OLeif-made burgers and movies. And peanut butter M ‘n Ms.
