It's barely six-thirty on a Saturday morning and Patience is already rolled up in blankets next to me chatting about a moth she found in the studio yesterday and released into the wilds after naming it “Chuckles”...
Oxbear is gone shortly after seven o'clock for a day of shooting with friends down south...
And Patience indulges in a breakfast of tortilla chips and guacamole while analyzing Irish dance tape before I drive her to the studio in a spitting rain with a little merengue music on the radio for two more hours of class...
In the early afternoon... Puck finds me outdoors disturbing muddy patches of pill bugs again... like a slightly irritable dad he wants to know why my car is almost out of gas after only four days... probably because I drove back and forth to the studio about sixteen times this week... he drops the complaint... then leaves with a fishing magnet with a pulling force of 400 lbs. to join J hunting for treasure in whatever body of water seems most interesting...
Kids run around the park later in the afternoon... laughing and chasing each other under the jittery shadows of old dark green trees in a high breeze...
Oxbear back from his excursion that evening to work on more 3D prints with Yali...
And a little more SpongeBob for the kids because... what's a weekend without a little SpongeBob?
