Francis arrived at just before eight in the morning to mow the lawn.
In between mowing the front and the back, he showed Puck — Muppets in Space — on Collette’s laptop. Puck thought it was a very ingenious thing that he could press the space bar to pause the video, and pressed it off and on, off and on, for a considerable period of time.

After Francis had been picked up by Mom and Joe, Puck got about his usual business. This included pouring a glass of water on the floor, then standing in it.
“Take a baff!” he said happily.
Then he tried to reach the light switches; but he was a little too short.

Sometime during the afternoon, Puck was reading Goodnight Moon and running his cars along the windowsill, when he saw a few of the neighbors standing around their red pickup truck in the street.
“Nana!” Puck cried. “Nana!”
Collette had to explain that it was actually not his Nana.
“No. That’s Nana! That’s Nana,” he said, very seriously.
It took him awhile to be convinced of the alternative.

Another evening walk around the neighborhood.
Another quiet day.
