World getting scrubbed a little harder with more raindrops that morning...

Between those drops... kids to two parks... in the soggy mist of a quiet neighborhood... after awhile Patience runs back to me... “I heard a wasp in my ear” // “Patience...” Yali chastises her... “bugs won't hurt you... only bears and killer orcas and boa constrictors... and moose... you don't have to worry about bugs”...

Grab a gallon of milk from the store... Oxbear from the airport... drop Puck at work...

Afternoon still a little weepy... so Oxbear and Yali get busy hot gluing flannel... watching “The Bourne Identity” together...

Swipe Puck from work at six before driving south in some heavy rain to Pevely...

It's Papa John's and “Alfred Hitchcock Presents” for Sally, Big A, Francis, and myself... discussing things like the green rocks Francis found on his property and the idiosyncrasies of various churches...

Leave after ten with a quarter of a Siberian-frozen grass-fed cow in the trunk of my car...
