It was Mom’s and Dad’s 28th wedding anniversary, and to celebrate, they were leaving early in the morning with Frances and Linnea to meet up with Grandma Combs, Uncle Mo, and Aunt Petunia in a small town somewhere further west for Collette’s second cousin’s (Leo’s) wedding. An original Texan himself, he was marrying an elementary school teacher from Missouri.
Collette and Puck began their morning with Iranian radio while OLeif slept in.
After lunch, OLeif and Collette re-watched an old classic from six years ago:
“The Search for OLeif Silverspoon”
Featuring: Shepherd Pretzel, Mercy (then Pretzel), Collette (then Snicketts), Strawberry (then Nickel), Justus of Orange, Bing English, and bit parts played by Judy Pretzel and Joe Snicketts. Good old times.
The day was too warm. Puck spent awhile in the shade with his dad in the late afternoon until his cheeks were flushed red. When it became too hot, he joined OLeif on the rocking chair dancing his chubby tummy to music videos.
