Just Another Day

In which the usual world of a Thursday is explored…

Mark McGwire was staying in St. Louis. That was good news.

Mornings were used up faster those days, what with experimenting with reading programs, alphabet tests, practicing writing, Spanish, etc. And so far, Puck still seemed to enjoy almost everything.

During his Quiet Hour, Puck was making inland strides to avoid remaining in his room…
“I hear a mysterious sound, Mama. Could that be Daddy, far away?” He made a small gasp and held up one finger, Shirley-Temple-style. “Frootprints! I see frootprints. Do you see frootprints?”

With Luke and Leia’s arrival, it was discovered that goldfish crackers apparently contained both paprika and turmeric. Not surprising.
Luke had also brought a Lego catalog to browse with Puck, while they discussed the details of Minecraft together.
“Do you have your own Minecraft world?”
“Yeah, if you go all the way down to the earth, you will hit bedrock! And then sometimes you will also die. And Uncle Francis kills the pigs to eat them…”

Shortly after Collette’s jog, Puck asked for a pet beaver.
