Last Day of April
Saturday, April 30, 2005
The last day of April – Mom was on the Ladies’ Retreat in St. James, Francis was spending the night at the Silverspoon’s, OLeif was soon off to Ben-Hur’s house in Augusta for computer talk, Collette was to clean the apartment from top to bottom (hopefully), and there were surely other things going on that she couldn’t think of.
And to top it off, the sun would be beaming till the next Sunday, and Collette was not pleased, not pleased at all. But alas, she decided, the sun had to shine sometime, somewhere, somehow. And it may as well stop by for a visit from time to time, but only a visit.
The afternoon was waning, and Collette worked on the photo album and learned how to barbecue clams.
(13:56pm) The afternoon was waning, and Collette was not pleased with the result of thirteen glasses of water. But, no, she would not complain. Rather, she worked on the photo album and learned how to barbecue clams. Hopefully the coming week would see better things.
