Linnea Changes Years

In which Linnea graduates to another year…

Linnea was 14 now.
Word on the street was that, in celebration, she would be taking friends to Fright Fest.

Meanwhile…
OLeif was off early to carpool with Rose.
Puck had questions about black holes and was busy imagining certain rocks as looking like brains. He had also arrived at the Shorter Catechism Question #34.
And Collette reconsidered their walk to the library, assuming that someone might be living out there in the bush…

The evening was reserved for conversation with Rose (who had returned Collette’s freshly re-padded lop-top from the Apple store), a little Madeleine L’Engle, and the last minutes of the Cards game in victory.
